Chiron In Pisces

Soul Healing and Unity

I've had a flood of emails in the last week - from sensitive souls asking what's happening that might be causing our increased sensitivity.

We're feeling very emotional, teary, sensitive and vulnerable. Anger is bubbling up too.

If you’ve been feeling it – you’re probably reacting to Chiron moving from Aquarius into his 8 year journey through Pisces (Feb 8). How wonderful that we're tapped into to the "bigger picture" so strongly.

So for those who are really feeling it - here's the longer version of what this may mean for us – some parts will apply to you more than others - take from it what you need.

My guidance is to present both sides, not just the "love and light" aspects of this time - as that is against the true nature of Chiron and of our souls. And would only keep us in the illusions we're seeking to break through.

Chiron the Master Healer

Chiron is the archetype of the "wounded healer". He represents our emotional and psychological wounds - that karmic grief that underlies all of our life lessons. Karmically embedded in our blueprints and one of our greatest teachers. Chiron's sign and placement in your natal chart, shows the nature of your wounding.

Also called the rainbow bridge between body and spirit – Chiron is the holistic healer, needed to heal the “pain gap” or “pain body” as Eckhart Tolle calls it – so that we are whole – in union again with our spiritual selves.

Chiron came to our attention in 1977 and its no coincidence that holistic healing has blossomed and strengthened since then – we now have a plethora of profoundly powerful energy techniques and modalities to help us heal at the soul level.

His energy urges us to take a practical approach to our pain. Not to judge or chastise ourselves – to feel it (go into the wound) and accept it is a powerful teacher in our soul lessons and evolution. His cycle through Pisces is going to show us through our feelings and thoughts, where we have unresolved wounding (blocks) in our body/mind/soul energy system.

Unlike the ego/body/mind, the soul does not avoid pain and seek pleasure. Rather it embraces experiences holistically - as an opportunity to learn and resolve lessons at the deepest level, so that we can release the past/pain and move on with greater clarity and wisdom.

Unity - like all other universal principles – will not exist between us until it truly exists within each of us.

As we resolve the deeper aspects of our Chironic pain, we become more integrated, more whole - thus, unity within.

Our understanding and expression of love will be transformed in the process. So that our “being” is true to our essence - Brother and Sister souls embracing our individual purposes and lessons as the many pathways to the same place - all serving the whole with compassion and acceptance: Many Beings - One Heart

Working with Chiron

We have a habit of resisting and struggling against “what is” trying to make it what we want it to be. Chiron is helping us to embrace and accept what is “as it is” right now. And when you think about it – how can you possibly move forward otherwise?

This cycle of Chiron is happening in a longer cycle of Pluto (the transformer, death/rebirth) in Capricorn (practicality, responsibility, focus, effort).

We have a super whammy of “get real, get practical, take action” energy moving us along. It makes us feel pressured - must hurry up!!!!

The irony is that the best way to work with this whole energy trend, is in a steady step-by-step, one thing at a time, attention to detail, kind of way.

Have you been struggling and resisting that? – trying to force and rush ahead to some perfect point in the future? Oh I wish - But it only slows the journey, and keeps us sitting in our Chiron pain longer.

Chiron in Pisces pain is the pain of separation – within and between self and spirit, within relationships, within communities etc. No wonder we feel an urgency to get it sorted!

As Chiron moves from Aquarius into Pisces – consider the higher aspects of Aquarius that we’re intended to integrate (the humanitarian, your unique gifts, the power of your individuality within the whole and healthy detachment vs co-dependence and enmeshment). Rather than, falling for the ego trick of rejecting that most recent experience in favour of "the next best thing". In this case the Pisces energy (compassion, devotion, spiritual union - and when out of balance or expressing through our wounds – escapism & martydom). So we’re meant to use the Pisces gifts to put the wisdom from the Aquarian phase into action – and “woohoo” we are integrating – sounds so simple in writing doesn’t it!

Pisces/Neptune is famed for assisting our enlightenment and equally for bringing us into the centre of our own illusions. Given we’re having to work with our pain to release our deeper gifts, be on the look out for actions that appear to be purely of compassionate, service to the whole, but may be helping you to hide from yourself.

One of our favourite ways of deluding ourselves is in over-devotion to others – their care, their healing, their needs, their dramas - while neglecting self and the work of our own soul. Likewise, we can put too much focus on "fixing" relationships with or between others - which is often just a mirror showing us what's needed within.

That is not altruism and compassion. Its denial, martyrdom and even victim-hood. Ouch! Been there! It keeps everyone firmly stuck in their karmic pain patterns and Chironic wounds. Yuk! Its essential that we bring those kind of behaviours and motives into awareness and balance – for genuine healing to happen.

That very practical blend of awareness, acceptance and action are what’s need to work successfully with Chiron in Pisces and the overall growth trend of the next decade. We are indeed building a strong foundation for a new world order, one step at a time.

Chiron Call to Action

Remember the call to action "feel the fear and do it anyway" ?

Chiron’s version is "feel the pain and go there anyway"

Chiron through Pisces will certainly empower our holistic healing abilities and usher in greater compassion on a global scale. Pisces is the 12th sign, so there is a sense of completion as we apply what we've learned, before a fresh 50 year cycle begins with Chiron in Aries 8 years from now.

If you've been feeling the emotional vulnerability - honour it and give yourself the nuruturing you need.

Welcome 2011

The Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Capricorn on Tues Jan 4th – captures the essence of the energy trend extending to May 2011. 

This strong Capricorn flavour loves organisation, structure and practicality.

So now is the time to review your accomplishments, life direction and daily habits – and make practical plans for what you need and want in 2011.

Pay attention to any loose ends and unfinished business. Take care of it now, or it will bite hard by mid-year!

Dream Big – fill up your whiteboard. Then look it over carefully and prune it to what feels necessary and or exciting! Delete anything you’re not honestly willing to give focus or energy to.  Be brutally honest with yourself.

As you are building new foundations to support your renewed visions and goals - be mindful of what you include in the mix.

Just as you respect your visible, physical resources – you need to do the same with the energy resource of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, attention and actions. These are the powerful building blocks your soul uses to create the life experience you want. Use them wisely, just as you do your material resources.

Transition Fever: with the whole of humanity still transitioning through a massive inner shift, the ride of our lives continues to be exciting, enlightening and empowering one day - confusing, frustrating and overwhelming the next. All indicators that we’re on the energy train moving forward.

The Gift - As we hang in there, roll up our sleeves and get on with it . . . working with where we are and what we’ve got right now . . .we're naturally mastering the process of  creative manifesting - transforming our ideas and dreams into physical reality.  The more we understand that process, the more powerfully we can use it.  I like it!

Relationship Wisdom from the Baby Porcupines

Fable of the Porcupine

It was the coldest winter ever - many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions even though they gave off heat to each other.

After awhile they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen.So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth.

Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. This way they learned to live with the little wounds that were caused by the close relationship with their companion, but the most important part of it, was the heat that came from the others. This way they were able to survive.

Moral of the story:


The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but the best is when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities.

10/10/10 What's all the Hype?

The Now Age has arrived!

10/10/10 is an auspicious day. An energy marker of completion. As we move from the introductory 2 year phase of the Now Age – into a deeper integration cycle.

I first spoke about the Now Age – The Age of Integration in 2008 – referring to the new cycle of personal and global evolution we moved into - courtesy of Pluto journeying through Capricorn from November 2008 through to 2025.

Pluto is known as the transformer, creating the constant cycle of birth-death-rebirth we know as evolution. Capricorn loves the practical, truth, simplicity, consolidation, integration, structure and taking time to do things thoroughly. Can you see how that energy has been at work in your life already?

Through this entire period each of us will be more deeply integrating our physical and spiritual lives – aligning our body, mind and soul, so that our thoughts, feelings and actions are in harmony. Bringing about the living of our new consciousness on a world level. How lucky are we to be a part of this era?


Living our beliefs – walking our talk – no more separation

The first 2 years of this cycle have been a real test. We’ve had our comfort zones shaken and stirred. Many have experienced a total life makeover – not one thing remaining from their old lives, except the essence of who they are. Exciting! Massively challenging! And exhausting!

Now, we have a virtual green light to move forward more freely. I’ve really felt the energy lifting over the last week or so. With Sun, Saturn and Mercury in Libra being urged on by Pluto we're being energetically assisted to gain the inner and outer balance and integration we’ve been seeking.

Some practical tips:

Integration is a natural process that occurs as we take inspired action in our lives (Being True to You – Authentic and Original)


• one step at a time


• reflecting on the results


• celebrating progress


• adjusting and assimilating


• taking the next step and so on

Many small steps get big results – don’t try to do it all in one big step.

• Enjoy Yourself – we’re here to play, experience, learn and become masterful in the art of living

The Gift:

The more we embrace authenticity and integrate our whole selves, the more perfectly we manifest and radiate our soul’s deepest desires - bringing our dreams to life.

Know yourself – Be yourself - SHINE

Wobblers, Rants, Deep and Meaningfuls abound . . .

Yes, speaking-up, answering back, an urge to rant and a compulsion to verbalize things that have been unspoken way too long, have been the theme this week.

Since we’re moving toward a New Moon in Libra on Oct 8th, putting the spotlight on relationships - its a good opportunity to communicate openly and honestly - positive or negative!  Truth is the key.

Communications have been intense, focused and often explosive as Pluto (the transformer and truth bringer) and Mercury (all things mental, communication) have been butting heads (theirs and ours) and shaking our comfort zones.

The best way to flow with this energy is to:

• Step-up
• Open-up
• Speak-up

Unlike you've often experienced in the past, the energy is moving faster and you'll find the breakthrough and resolution is almost instant.  So its worth any discomfort or irritation - just take a deep breath and do it, stay true to you and keep following througth.

As the wise ones always say - the truth will set you free!
